We're very pleased to be working this year with the Holiday Inn Select Atlanta-Perimeter / Dunwoody. This beautiful and spacious venue offers great amenities to convention attendees.
One of the best features is a very large, open atrium with comfy chairs and a huge amount of space in which to talk and spend time catching up with old friends and making new ones.

TRANSPORTATION
If you are flying into Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson Airport, MARTA is the suggested way to go at $4.50 for a round-trip ticket. Take the gold line train to the Doraville Station. The hotel has a free shuttle that runs from 7 am to 10 pm and you can arrange pickup with the front desk at 770-457-6363.

There are two eating places in close walking distance, Blimpie and Arby's.
Within 2 miles there are at least 40 restaurants, which is too many to mention them all. Here are some highlights in each category.

Located one exit away is Perimeter Mall. The mall's anchor stores are Dillard's, Bloomingdale's, Macy's, and Nordstrom and then there are over 200 specialty shops. You can take the shuttle from the hotel to the mall and back. All around Perimeter Mall there are also shopping centers, including a Target and Wal-Mart close by, as well as the Barnes and Noble where our webmaster, Alan, works!

Another shopping area of specialty stores are the Shops of Dunwoody. This area has definite small town flair and contains some different eating options, as well as a Fresh Market grocery store, which has gourmet meal takeout. The grocery store is located at 5511 Chamblee-Dunwoody Road, Dunwoody, GA 30338 and the shops and restaurants are around this store.
Atlanta Attractions
If you are coming to Atlanta for Outlantacon, stay and extra day or two and explore some of Atlanta. Atlanta has many museums, including the High Museum of Art and it's galleries, the Fernbank Museum of Natural History, and the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Site. You can also visit CNN (where Sid and Marty Krofft once had an amusement park, the World of Sid and Marty Krofft.) The escalator from their vision still stands. There is also the Georgia Aquarium and The World of Coke.
Atlanta's restaurant scene is vibrant with wonderful chefs creating their restaurants here. Notable rising stars include Richard Blaise, Linton Hopkins, Anne Quatrano, and Kevin Gillespie. Hitting the restaurant scene in Atlanta doe not have to cost an arm and a leg. Below are some sites to help you save money for the Dealer's Room!
