[This is information from our last one-day event. Check back after the May event for information on the November 2010 one-day. Much of these events will repeat, so this will give you an idea what to expect next year.]

Come join us for our Big Day of Gamming!!!
Here are some things to look forward to.

Game Swap:

Bring some of your games that maybe you don't play anymore and swap with others who may be looking for just what you have! Here's a chance to update your game collection with new stuff.

Gaming Demos:

We will have sessions throughout the day for beginners who want to learn to play a certain game. There will be tournaments of some of these games later in the day. The ones we have lined up so far are:

• Ticket to Ride
• Settlers of Catan
• Puerto Rico
• Carcassonne

Gaming Tournaments:

We will have tournaments going on throughout the day. We will be adding more to the list below, and a specific schedule is forthcoming. Demos of any of the games that will be featured in a tournament will precede the scheduled tournament time (so that beginners can have the chance to be involved in the tournaments). The list so far:

• Settlers of Catan
• Carcassonne
• Scrabble

'Family' Feud '09: (8:00 p.m.)

In our continuing efforts to pay homage to the classic television game shows of the past, we will be introducing our adaption of the Family Feud.

We are updating this timeless classic. The questions will have a SF/F/H or a GLBT slant to them. The game will pit "families" of four against one another. So bring your friends, create your own family and defend it's honor.

Sci-Fi Team Trivia:

We will finish up the evening with Sci-Fi Team Trivia. There is nothing like a relaxing game of Trivia to wind down from a full day of gamming.
