RULES

If you purchase a membership to or attend OutlantaCon, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

 

Terms of Service / Cancellation Policy / Anti-Harassment Policy: OutlantaCon has a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for harassment of any kind. If a person engages in harassing behavior, OutlantaCon staff will take prompt action in any form they deem appropriate in their sole discretion, including expulsion from OutlantaCon with no refund. This policy applies to EVERYONE at OutlantaCon. Exhibitors, Artists, Fans, Speakers, Guests, Professionals, Press, Staff, Volunteers, and Security are all subject to our Anti-Harassment Policy.  I have read and agree to the OutlantaCon Anti-Harassment Policy. Membership holders assume all risk incidental to participation in all activities, loss or damage to property and release OutlantaCon and their respective employees and agents, against any and all claims.

 

In exchange for the opportunity to register and attend OutlantaCon, I hereby grant permission to OutlantaCon, its employees, and agents, to take, use and publish visual/audio/images of me at OutlantaCon, and I hereby waive any claim to compensation for use of such visual/audio/images. Visual/audio/images are any type of recording, including photographs, digital images, drawings, renderings, voices, sounds, video recordings, audio clips or accompanying written descriptions. I agree that OutlantaCon owns the images and all rights related to them. The images may be used by OutlantaCon in any manner or media without notifying me, such as the OutlantaCon website, publications, promotions, broadcasts, advertisements, and posters, for advertising or other related purposes. I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished images or any printed or electronic matter that may be used with them.

 

In purchasing and/or using a OutlantaCon membership, and in consideration for being admitted to OutlantaCon, the membership holder (the “Holder”) consents to being recorded (by audio, visual and/or other means) for exhibition and exploitation by any means for any and all purposes in all media now known or hereafter devised worldwide in perpetuity. Holder also hereby: (1) releases OutlantaCon from any liability for loss or damage to persons or property, infringement of any right or any other claim or course of action of any kind; (2) authorizes and permits OutlantaCon and its designees, which include but are not limited to all sponsors, exhibitors and contractors, the use of his/her name, voice, likeness and all reproductions thereof by any means and in all media now and hereafter known for any and all purposes worldwide in perpetuity; and (3) agrees to comply with all rules and regulations of OutlantaCon. Holder agrees not to make any recordings of any and all panel discussions, presentations, or stage performances at OutlantaCon without the express written permission of OutlantaCon.

 

OutlantaCon reserves the right to deny entry or remove from OutlantaCon any person who in their sole and absolute discretion is behaving, threatening to, or may behave in a manner which OutlantaCon reasonably consider to be disruptive of OutlantaCon.

 

Memberships for the event are non-refundable and non-transferable and cannot be reproduced, resold or upgraded. The unauthorized resale or attempted resale of the ticket and/or wristband is prohibited and will constitute a forfeiture of the membership without compensation. Each membership must be used by the same person for each day of OutlantaCon. OutlantaCon’s operating hours, schedules, artists and speakers are subject to change or cancellation without notice. Each OutlantaCon is a revocable license to attend OutlantaCon. All panels, autographing, photo ops, special events, show features, and performances are subject to availability and access is not guaranteed and/or may require an additional fee.

 

OutlantaCon is not responsible for lost or stolen memberships. Holder acknowledges that there are hazards and risks of physical injury or illness to attendees of OutlantaCon and that not all such hazards or risks can be fully eliminated. By accepting this membership and attending OutlantaCon, Holder freely and voluntarily agrees to assume the full risk of bodily injury or property damage, regardless of severity, or death that Holder may sustain as a result of attending OutlantaCon, whether or not caused by the negligence or gross negligence of OutlantaCon. All attendees age 6 or older need a membership to enter OutlantaCon. Please note, OutlantaCon recommends all individuals under the age of 18 attend with a parent or legal guardian, and all individuals under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Individuals under the age of 18 must obtain the permission of a parent or legal guardian before sending any information to OutlantaCon, entering any sweepstakes or contests at OutlantaCon, posting any information on OutlantaCon.com or related websites, or purchasing any goods online related to OutlantaCon. The submission of information to OutlantaCon or the purchase and/or use of a membership to OutlantaCon is a representation and confirmation that you are age 18 or over or have obtained the consent of a parent or legal guardian. If you are the parent or legal guardian of an OutlantaCon attendee that is under the age of 18, it is your responsibility to check the suitability of OutlantaCon for any individuals in your party regardless of official age restrictions.

 

OutlantaCon’s on-site or web-enabled technologies, including but not limited to on-site Wi-Fi, on-site interactive kiosks, and any mobile applications associated with OutlantaCon (the “Digital Technologies”) are neither directed at nor intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. OutlantaCon does not knowingly collect Personal Information from individuals under the age of 13, and if OutlantaCon becomes aware that it has inadvertently done so, OutlantaCon will promptly delete such Personal Information. If you are under the age of 13, do not access or use the Digital Technologies unless under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian, and if you are under the age of 18, do not access or use the Digital Technologies without the express consent of a parent or legal guardian.
